Looking for drawing inspiration on the web?

Filed under: drawing — Brian @ 1:01 am

There’s plenty out there. Just be aware that some of the people who usually draw trees and faces and animals and buildings will occasionally and without warning draw a completely nekkid human.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that – but your boss may not be the art afficianado you are.

I don’t know about my boss. I’m a quick-enough window-closer and cache-purger so far. But I’m not about to push my luck. I decided early not to blog from work – now I’ll be avoiding new artists while I’m there, too.

  1. Yeah, well, when you run across those sites, be sure to post the URLs so we can, um, avoid them also. ;-)

  2. Ha! I was going back and forth about whether I should link to the guy I was talking about here!

As I understand it, though, it’s gauche to be surprised by anything if you are an artiste. If I’m wearing the hat, I have to walk the walk, you know.

    Or something.

  3. Hey Brian, Eric sent me over here. He knows how I love Veggie Tales and art. What a great start you’ve got here! I commend you for exploring and searching for the One Bean. And if your sketches here are any example at all, you’ve found your gift (at least one of them). Keep up God’s work! I will be checking in on occasion. :-)

  4. Thanks for stopping by with an encouraging word, Gwynne.

I’ll keep at it until I figure it out!
