Thirty minutes, just under three miles. But it’s the first time I’ve been out in a while, so I’m pretty happy with it. Oh, and no ITB problems, either, which is the bigger thing. That’s what stopped my running a long time ago.
Every time I’d try again, it would flare up within the first mile or two, so I’d stopped for quite a while.
Here’s hoping this is a sign of things to come. I feel so much better when I run.

You have ITB problems too? ITB is my bane, sigh… I will try again in a few days…
Here’s to a good start back at jogging! :)

Yes. I messed it up during my first (and, so far, only) half-marathon. It started hurting around mile 8 or 9, but I kept going. Because I’m an idiot that way. That was about four years ago, I think.
I tried one of those straps you can put around your leg just above the knee - it helped, but was hard to keep in place. Not running for a long time helped more…

Is bicycling season already over in Ohio? Surely not…

No, still plenty of time left in cycling season. I just prefer running lately. More time to let my mind wander when I don’t have to worry about obstacles. As much.

Hmm. Maybe I will try using a Patt-strap. I used to tape it up. It worked okay. But I think it is a symptomatic solution…
