Whiplashed by the Throes of Creativity

A rather tedious monograph about the origins of creativity, with a peripheral reference to monsters drawn by kids.

Yes, definitely easier said...

My first thought was, "hey - that's a great idea. I should try that with my kids' drawings!" Then I looked at them more closely. Wow - there's a lot of interpretation in there, apart from the technical skill.

Some impressive imagination at work, there.

What a great lesson on how to stimulate your creativity! It's as simple as "thinking like a kid."

Easier said than done, though.

It could also segue into a discussion of the relative importance of creativity vs. technique (or skill)...
